The SMC JSB61-ST40AR-6S is an air operated angle seat valve from the SMC JSB Series, engineered for controlling steam, water, and air in demanding process applications. It has a 1-1/2" (Rc (BSPT)) threaded connection and an angled seat design that keeps the flow path open for high flow capacity with minimal pressure drop.
This normally closed (N.C.) valve uses a stainless steel 316L equivalent body and fluororesin seal for long service life - up to 10 million cycles on air and water, or 3 million cycles on steam - with fast, repeatable actuation and a built-in visual position indicator.
