The 221-501 is a mounting carrier for WAGO 221 Series Lever-Nuts, providing secure, modular installation of 2-, 3- and 5-conductor 221 Series Ex splicing connectors with conductor cross-sections up to 4 mm² (2412 AWG). It is designed for both DIN-35 rail and direct screw mounting, enabling flexible integration into control panels, junction boxes, and distribution assemblies. The carrier is molded from PA66 with UL94 V0 flammability, has a depth from the upper edge of the DIN rail of 25.5 mm, and measures approximately 17.5 mm wide by 67.2 mm high, with a fire load of 0 MJ. Typical applications include Ex-rated and general-purpose installations where organized, testable mounting of WAGO 221 Series connectors is required, using the carriers top-side test access and optional strain relief accessories.
