Basic Controller 100; 2 x ETHERNET

The controller is designed for use within ETHERNET networks alongside the WAGO I/O System. It supports all modules in the 750/753 Series and operates at data rates of 10/100 Mbit/s. With two ETHERNET interfaces and an integrated switch, it can be wired in a line topology, eliminating the need for extra network devices. The interfaces support autonegotiation and Auto-MDI(X).

A DIP switch configures the IP address, and the controller supports Modbus TCP for industrial environments and various standard ETHERNET protocols for IT integration, including HTTP(S), BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNTP, SNMP, and SFTP. An integrated Webserver allows for user configuration and displays PLC status information.

The controller includes role-based user management and supports the RFC 5424 syslog protocol. It is programmable according to IEC 61131-3 standards, is multitasking-capable, and has a capacitor-backed RTC. It offers 8 MB of data memory and a removable memory card slot for transferring device parameters or files, accessible via FTP and usable as an additional drive.

The WAGO Basic Controller 100 series is a PLC CPU unit featuring a 32-bit processor and supports up to 250 connections per node. It includes Modbus TCP communication, operates on a supply voltage of 18-31.2Vdc (24Vdc nominal), and is equipped with two RJ45 connectors for fieldbus communication. The unit is designed for DIN-35 rail mounting with a width of 61.5mm and includes an SD/SDHC card slot supporting up to 32GB. It has an IP20 rating and is suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from 0°C to +55°C, equivalent to model 7508001.
