WAGO 750-8302 PFC300 Controller, Compact PLC with Dual Core 1.4 GHz CPU, Dual Gigabit Ethernet & RS-485
WagoWAGO PFC300 Controller (750-8302) — The Next-Generation Compact PLC
The WAGO 750-8302 Controller PFC300 is a compact programmable logic controller built on a Dual Core ARM Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.4 GHz, paired with 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 GB of eMMC flash — a generational leap in compute headroom over the PFC200 family. It runs a real-time Linux operating system with the PREEMPT_RT patch and is programmed natively in CODESYS V3.5. Two configurable Ethernet ports with an integrated managed switch enable line topology wiring or two segregated networks, while a 9-pin D-sub RS-485 interface provides serial connectivity to legacy field devices. The PFC300 directly accepts the full 750/753 Series I/O catalog — up to 250 modules per node — making it a drop-in upgrade path for engineers already standardized on the WAGO I/O System.
Typical applications include packaging, bottling and filling lines, textile machinery, metal and wood processing equipment, building automation, and process industry control. With ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 approvals, plus ABS and DNV certifications, the 750-8302 is also suitable for hazardous-area installations and marine/offshore deployments.
Dual-core compute, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB flash give your firmware team room to grow — complex motion sequences, OPC UA Pub/Sub publishing, embedded Web visualizations and IIoT libraries all run on the same controller without compromise. Native CODESYS V3.5 with the MULTICORE feature lets you split tasks across cores for deterministic cycle times.
Modbus TCP/UDP/RTU, EtherNet/IP scanner and adapter, EtherCAT master, PROFINET (limited), MQTT and OPC UA server/client are integrated into CODESYS out of the box. Add IEC 60870, IEC 61850 or DNP3 telecontrol and BACnet via license. The integrated managed switch supports STP/RSTP for resilient line and ring topologies.
PFC300 vs. PFC200: What’s Changed
The PFC300 is a clean-sheet redesign, not a refresh. If you’re currently specifying a 750-8212 or comparable PFC200 G2 controller, here’s how the 750-8302 compares head-to-head:

Communications & Fieldbus Support
The PFC300 ships with an exhaustive protocol stack already integrated into the CODESYS V3.5 runtime — you don’t bolt protocols on, they’re native. The X1 and X2 RJ-45 ports default to a single bridge (one IP address, line-topology friendly) but can be split into two bridges with separate IP addresses for control-network / IT-network segregation.
