- Reinforced insulation between coil and contacts
- A separator plate (e.g., 209-191) must be used for voltages greater than 250 V between adjacent relay modules and for compliance with the reinforced insulation requirements.
- To protect the relay coils and contacts, inductive loads must be dampened with an effective protection circuit.
The WAGO 788 series plug-in relay assembly features a single-pole, single-throw (SPDT) contact with a control voltage range of 10.8-13.2Vdc and a nominal voltage of 12Vdc. It has an electromechanical design with a rated current of 16A continuous, 6A at 250Vac (AC-15), and 2A at 24Vdc (DC-13). The relay includes a red LED indicator, Push-in CAGE CLAMP connections, and is designed for DIN-35 rail mounting with a 15mm width. It has IP20 protection and uses Silver-Nickel (AgNi 90/10) contacts, equivalent to model 788303.
