The Zebra FS42-WA20D4-3C00W is a 2.3 MP FS42-series fixed industrial auto focus scanner with a wide angle field of view, white illumination, and the Fast 1D/2D decoding toolset with Direct Part Mark (DPM) support. Built on the Zebra Aurora software platform, it reads 1D and 2D barcodes and DPM codes on automated production and packaging lines and can be expanded into a machine vision smart camera with a software license. Replacing Discontinued SKUs (Zebra PMB-11980)

Effective September 7, 2026, the FS42-WA20D4-3C00W is the preferred replacement configuration for the following discontinued Zebra SKUs: FS42-WA20F4-3C00W, FS42-WA20F4-5F00W, FS42-WA20G4-3C00W, FS42-WA20Z4-3C00W. The base hardware is unchanged; the new Fast 1D/2D with DPM decoding toolset includes all decoder tools (Standard, Fast, and DPM).

Depending on the discontinued SKU being replaced, differences include an updated illumination color (from IR to white or red, no filter) on prior 5F00W configurations.
