The Zebra GTX5000CMW is an all-in-one industrial smart camera combining a 5.3 MP color CMOS sensor with an Intel Atom x6211E embedded processor, 4 GB of system memory and 64 GB of eMMC storage. Built as an edge IoT device, it handles traditional machine vision workloads and deep learning inference directly at the point of inspection, with no separate PC or controller required.

Imaging and Processing

The 2592 x 2048 pixel color sensor captures high-resolution images at speed for inspection, gauging, code reading, verification and robot guidance. Integrated lens focusing and illumination intensity control simplify setup and ongoing maintenance, and support for Corning Varioptic C-C Series liquid lenses allows electronically controlled focus without mechanical adjustment.

Software and Licensing

This model ships with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (64-bit) and is pre-licensed for Aurora Imaging Library plus industrial and robot communication packages, so the camera is ready for development and deployment without a separate software purchase. Aurora Design Assistant is a flowchart-based development environment, so inspection logic and the web-based operator interface are configured visually rather than written in code. Aurora Imaging Library is available for teams that need code-level customization.

Connectivity and Installation

Gigabit Ethernet, USB and VGA video output allow full integration into an automation cell or machine, and real-time discrete I/O interfaces directly to PLCs and other automation devices. Dedicated 0 V to 10 V output controls LED lighting intensity. The dust-proof, immersion-resistant housing suits tight and dirty industrial environments.
