Datasensing AD1/AP-1A Sensors

The Datasensing AD1/AP-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These sensors feature an extremely compact design with dimensions of M5 x 30 mm for cable and 38 mm for plug length, making them ideal for tight spaces. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc and can handle an output current of up to 100 mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED output indicator for easy status monitoring and are fully protected against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed with a robust AISI303 stainless steel housing, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering a high degree of protection with an IP67 rating. The active head is made from durable PBT material, and the sensors come with a 2-meter PVC cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 0.8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 0.65mm, they are suitable for detecting standard targets of 5x5mm FE360. The sensors also feature a high switching frequency of 5kHz and a repeat accuracy of less than 5%, ensuring precise and consistent performance. Additional features include a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 100mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.5V @100mA, and the sensors can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. They are designed for shielded mounting and come with supplied accessories, including two M5x0.5 nuts.
