The Datasensing AE1/CN-1H Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 standard flush mount, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, making them ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an IP67 protection rating, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments.
With a 360° visible LED status indicator, the AE1/CN-1H provides clear operational feedback. The sensor's NPN output type and NC output function are complemented by a high switching frequency of 5kHz, ensuring rapid response times. It operates efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 200mA.
Engineered for safety, the sensor includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads. The device is EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and withstands shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27.
The AE1/CN-1H is easy to install with its M12 plug connection and comes with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. Optional ATEX models for category 3 applications are available upon request, providing additional safety for explosive atmospheres.
