Datasensing AE1/CN-4A Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/CN-4A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 LD unshielded NC/NPN configuration, these inductive sensors come with a 2-meter axial cable for flexible installation. The sensor's metal housing ensures durability, while the 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback. With an IP67 protection rating, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available for specialized needs. The AE1/CN-4A offers a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 3.24mm. It is optimized for a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensor maintains high accuracy with a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. It features a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 5kHz, making it suitable for high-speed applications. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensor has a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and can handle a load current of up to 200mA. It ensures minimal power loss with an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and offers comprehensive protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head, the sensor is robust and reliable, withstanding operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. It is EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and has been tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. The sensor comes with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting and is CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
