The Datasensing AE6/AN-4A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With an IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for specialized needs. The sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection.
Available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing, these sensors provide flexibility for various installation requirements. The nominal sensing distance is 4mm, with an operating distance of 0 to 3.24mm, and they are optimized for a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C.
With a switching frequency of 5kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are efficient and reliable. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED output state indicator and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms.
Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head material, the sensors are durable and lightweight at 45g. They come with a 2m PVC cable for easy connectivity and are designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 3Nm. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are CE UR approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, the Datasensing AE6/AN-4A Sensors are a reliable choice for proximity sensing needs.
