The Datasensing AE6/CN-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature a compact M8 short shielded design with an NC/NPN output and a 2-meter axial cable for easy installation. The robust metal housing ensures durability, while the 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback. With IP67 housing protection, these sensors are suitable for harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for explosive atmospheres. Engineered for complete protection against electrical damages, the AE6/CN-1A offers both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. The nominal sensing distance is 1.5mm, with an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, making it ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensor's correction factors accommodate various materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The AE6/CN-1A boasts a high switching frequency of 5kHz and operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. It features short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring reliable performance. The sensor's nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material provide excellent mechanical protection, while its IP67 rating guarantees resistance to dust and water ingress. With a compact size of M8 x 1 and a length of 35.5mm, the sensor is easy to mount using the included M8x1 nuts. It operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making it versatile for various industrial settings.
