Datasensing AH6/AN-1A Sensors

The Datasensing AH6/AN-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in compact spaces. With an extremely reduced dimension of Ø6.5 mm, these inductive sensors feature a short shielded body and a 2-meter axial cable for versatile installation. Constructed with a robust AISI303 stainless steel housing, they offer complete protection against electrical damages and are suitable for harsh environments with an IP67 protection degree. The sensors are equipped with a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. These sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, making them ideal for proximity detection. They are compatible with standard targets of 8x8mm FE360 and have specific correction factors for different materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors maintain high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%. The AH6/AN-1A model features an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. It operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 200mA. The sensors are equipped with essential protections, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Designed for durability, the sensors can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and are compliant with CE and UR approvals. They also meet EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and are tested for shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27).
