Datasensing AK1/AN-4A8R Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AN-4A8R Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. This M18 unshielded sensor features a NO/NPN output type and is equipped with a 10-meter axial PVC cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm, it is ideal for detecting standard targets of 36x36mm FE360. The sensor offers a high correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). It maintains a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. Operating at a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensor supports a switching frequency of 300Hz and can handle a load current of up to 400mA with a minimal output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. It features a yellow LED indicator for output state, and its robust design includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The housing is made of durable nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, and it is rated IP67 for mechanical protection. The sensor is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27.
