The Datasensing AK1/BP-3H4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design with NO+NC/PNP connectivity and an M12 connection, these sensors are housed in durable AISI303 stainless steel, ensuring robust performance in various environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). They maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, with a switching frequency of 300Hz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they consume a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and support a load current of ? 400mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1V at 400mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, these sensors have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms and include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are designed for shielded mounting, with an active head made of PBT and a tightening torque of 25Nm. They are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors have dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 64mm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, offering IP67 mechanical protection.
