The Datasensing AT1/AN-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. These M30 DC sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard and long-distance options, with outputs available in cable, M12, and plug cable exit configurations. They are available in 2, 3, and 4-wire models, with ATEX category 3 models available upon request. The sensors feature complementary output (NO + NC) and provide complete protection against electrical damages.
With a nominal sensing distance of 20mm and an operating distance of 0 to 16.2mm, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions. They are designed with a standard target size of 60x60mm FE360 and have correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminum (0.50), brass (0.55), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They have a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 200Hz.
Operating at a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. They feature a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. The sensors are equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state and have a time delay before availability of ?100ms. They offer short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensors are unshielded and have dimensions of M30 x 1.5 / L = 60mm. They weigh 230g and have a tightening torque of 50Nm. The sensors operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are approved with CE UR certifications. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With an IP67 degree of protection, these sensors are supplied with two M30x1.5 nuts for easy installation.
