The Datasensing BX80B/4P-0H Sensors are advanced area sensor receivers designed for precision and reliability. With a controlled height of 70 mm and an operating distance of up to 2 meters, these sensors are equipped with a microprocessor-based circuit for enhanced performance. The sensitivity adjustment feature ensures accurate detection, while the strong cubic housing and metallic enclosure provide durability for high-duty use. The sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages with an IP67 protection degree, making them suitable for various industrial environments. Key features include a nominal sensing distance of 550 to 600 mm, a thermal drift of Sr ?10%, and a beam spacing of 6 mm. The sensors can detect objects as small as Ø 2 mm with 12 rays, operating on a PNP output type with NO/NC output functions. They boast a fast response time of 2 ms and operate on a voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC. The sensors have a no-load supply current of 50 mA and can handle a load current of up to 100 mA, with a leakage current of just 10 µA. The BX80B/4P-0H Sensors feature LED indicators for power, alignment, and output state, and include protections such as short-circuit (auto reset), reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage. They are designed to withstand external light interference up to 1,500 lux from incandescent lamps and 4,500 lux from sunlight. The sensors are compact, with dimensions of 44 mm x 120 mm x 20 mm, and weigh between 260 to 300 grams. Constructed with a PBT housing and PC active head material, they are built to endure operating temperatures from -25°C to +50°C and storage temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. The package includes two M18x1 nuts, an adjustment key, and a 90° angled bracket for easy installation. Approved by CE and cULus, these sensors comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2 and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC EN 60947-5-2.
