The Datasensing FAI4/BP-0E Sensors offer a comprehensive range of M18 sensors designed for optimal performance with a 10...30 Vdc power supply. These sensors feature both axial and radial optics with a flat surface, making them ideal for various applications. The retro-reflective models are specifically engineered for detecting transparent objects, utilizing a red emission and boasting an IP67 protection degree for robust durability. Available in both metallic and plastic housings, these sensors provide flexibility in installation and application.
Each model includes sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring precise detection capabilities. The sensors operate on the principle of diffuse reflection for short distances up to 200mm, with a nominal sensing distance of 200mm. They are equipped with PNP NO+NC output types, offering both normally open and normally closed functions. With a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, these sensors are designed for fast and reliable performance.
The FAI4/BP-0E Sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, featuring total protection against electric damages, including short-circuit protection with auto-reset, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection. They are also resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
Constructed with a durable PBT/PC plug housing and a PC active head material, these sensors are lightweight at just 30g and have a compact M18x1/L=81.6mm dimension. They are easy to install with an M12 plug connection and come with supplied accessories, including M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver.
