The Datasensing FALD/BN-3A Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a 90° laser receiver with a nominal sensing distance of 50 meters, these sensors are equipped with NPN NO+NC output functions and a 2-meter axial metal cable for versatile installation. The M18 sensors operate on a 10...30 VDC power supply and offer both axial and radial optics with a flat surface for enhanced performance. With visible red laser emission models, they ensure accurate detection and are protected by an IP67-rated housing, available in both metallic and plastic options.
These sensors are engineered with sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring adaptability to various applications. They boast a repeat accuracy of 5% and a switching frequency of 1kHz, with a rapid response time of 500µs. The sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, with total protection against electric damages, short-circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection. They are also resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 5000 lux from incandescent lamps and 10000 lux from sunlight.
The robust construction includes a nickel-plated brass housing with a glass/PC active head material, ensuring durability and longevity. The sensors are CE and cULus listed, meeting EMC compatibility standards (EN 60947-5-2) and are tested for shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27).
