The Datasensing FARS/BN-0E Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for precise object detection with their M18 design and versatile features. These sensors operate on a 10...30 Vdc power supply and are available in both axial and radial optic configurations with a flat surface. They are particularly effective for detecting transparent objects, thanks to their retro-reflective models with red emission. With an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, featuring metallic or plastic housing options.
The FARS/BN-0E Sensors come equipped with sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, allowing for fine-tuning to suit specific applications. They boast a nominal sensing distance of 130mm and a minimum sensing distance (blind zone) of 30mm, with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensors utilize a background suppression function principle and have an optic position of axial.
Output options include NPN NO+NC, with a switching frequency of 1Khz and a response time of 500µs. They are designed to handle a load current of up to 100mA, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a leakage current of ?10?A.
