Datasensing PFK1/AP-1H Sensors

The Datasensing PFK1/AP-1H Sensors are designed with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. These inductive sensors feature a yellow LED status indicator for easy monitoring and boast an impressive protection degree of IP67, IP68, and IP69K, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. With ATEX models available upon request, these sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models. The sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 4.05mm, with a standard target size of 18x18mm FE360. They exhibit a correction factor of 0.25 for copper, 0.35 for aluminum, 0.40 for brass, and 0.70 for stainless steel. The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and they maintain a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they are designed for proximity functions with a PNP output type and NO output function. These sensors operate at a switching frequency of 1.5kHz and an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They feature a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 2V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The M18 standard flush mount design, with dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 63.1mm and a weight of 55g, ensures easy installation and secure mounting with a tightening torque of 50Nm. The sensors are compatible with M12 plug connections and have an active head made of PPS material. They are approved by CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSY, and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. The sensors are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and they come with two M18x1 nuts as supplied accessories. They operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure capability up to 100°C during cleaning processes.
