The Datasensing PFK1/BN-3HV5 Inductive Sensor is a high-performance proximity sensor designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, this sensor is ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. It offers a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.20), aluminium (0.30), brass (0.40), and stainless steel (0.65). With a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5% at 24V and 23°C, it ensures consistent performance. The sensor operates with a switching frequency of 1.5kHz and supports an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. It features a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 2V at 200mA. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, it is easy to install with an M12 plug connection. The sensor operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure tolerance up to 100°C during cleaning processes, and offers IP67 mechanical protection.
