Featuring a bright red LED emission, this sensor offers multiple background suppression functions, making it ideal for detecting shiny and clear objects. It supports diffuse proximity sensing up to 100 cm and background suppression up to 800 mm with the LED trimmer version. The sensor also includes polarized RRX capabilities with a range of 7 m for red LED emission and 12 m for red laser emission, as well as through-beam sensing up to 20 m and laser up to 30 m. Equipped with state-of-the-art IO-Link connectivity, this sensor allows for extended Smart Tasks and easy integration into various systems. The rugged IP67 plastic miniature case ensures durability, while the M3 threaded holes with metal inserts provide secure mounting options. The sensor features a nominal sensing distance of 180 mm, with a sensitivity adjustment via push button TEACH-IN, and a minimum sensing distance (blind zone) of 0 mm. It operates on a voltage range of 10…30VDC, with a switching frequency of 500Hz and a response time of 1ms.
