The Leuze DDLS 200/120.2-40-H is an optical data transmission receiver unit designed for contact-free, high-performance transfer of industrial bus protocols including DH+ and RIO from Rockwell Automation, with a working range of 200 to 120,000 mm and a usable transmitter opening angle of 1°. It features integrated heating for operation in temperatures down to -30°C, supply voltage of 18-30 VDC (current consumption approx. 800 mA at 24 VDC with heating), aluminum diecast housing with glass optics (IP65 protection per EN 60529), and pre-mounted on a mounting plate for straightforward installation. Typical applications include real-time capable, deterministic data transmission in harsh industrial environments such as manufacturing lines requiring robust, wear-free networking over extended distances, paired with a complementary .1 transmitter unit using frequency-offset arrangement.
