The Leuze DDLS 200/200.2-10-H-M12 is an optical data transmission receiver designed for contact-free, wireless transmission of industrial Ethernet and fieldbus protocols over distances up to 200 m. This M12-connector variant features integrated heating, enabling reliable operation across an extended temperature range of -30°C to +50°C, and supports PROFIBUS DP and RS 485 interfaces with configurable transmission speeds from 9.6 kbit/s to 1.5 Mbit/s. The device uses infrared LED technology (Class 1 per EN 60825-1) with a tight ±0.5° beam spread, aluminum diecast housing rated IP 65, and operates from 1830 V DC supply with approximately 200 mA quiescent current (800 mA with heating active). Designed as the receiver half of a paired transmission system, this unit is commonly deployed in automated high-bay warehouses, gantry crane systems, conveyor transfer applications, and industrial automation environments where cable-free real-time data communication is required.
