The Leuze DDLS 200/200.2-10-M12 is an optical data transmission system designed for contact-free, bidirectional infrared data transfer over distances up to 200 m, supporting PROFIBUS DP and RS 485 interfaces at transmission speeds of 0.0096 to 1.5 Mbit/s. It features a working range of 200 to 200,000 mm with a 1° usable opening angle, LED light source, one digital switching input and output, and supply voltage of 1830 V DC with current consumption up to 200 mA without heating (800 mA with). The metal housing (89.25 x 196.5 x 111.8 mm, 1.245 kg) includes M16 cable glands with 8-pin and 6-pin terminals for power and data, operates in -5 to 50 °C ambient temperatures, and supports applications like automated high-bay warehouses and transfer cars with parallel light axes operation unaffected by reflective surfaces. Mounting requires plane-parallel alignment with a bar graph display and LEDs for status indication including receive level, transmit/receive data, and warnings.
