The Horner Automation HE-XPLWE0 is a 7-inch XLW Prime all-in-one OCS (operator control station), combining PLC logic, HMI, I/O, and networking in a single panel-mount unit. This model provides no built-in I/O. The XLW Prime runs a 1 MB logic engine at a 0.02 mS/K scan on a non-volatile system-on-module, so the only battery is a coin cell for the clock.

Direct successor to the discontinued HE-EXLWE0-33. Existing Cscape applications transfer to the XLW Prime without redevelopment.

I/O (HE-XPLWE0)

The Model 0 ships with no built-in I/O and is designed as a networked HMI and logic controller, expandable over CsCAN, Ethernet, or Modbus with SmartBlock, SmartStix, SmartRail, and OCS-I/O.

Replacing HE-EXLWE0-33

This page replaces the discontinued Horner Automation HE-EXLWE0-33 (7" EXLW series, no built-in I/O with DeviceNet Master firmware preloaded and CsCAN removed). Horner marked that series mature; the HE-XPLWE0 is the direct upgrade with the same 7-inch display and identical I/O. On the legacy part, DeviceNet Master was a preloaded-firmware option; on the XLW Prime DeviceNet Master is selectable in Cscape, so no dedicated part number is required.
