The Leuze CRT648-150/LT-M12 is a color sensor designed for high-precision color detection and sorting in demanding industrial environments. This sensor delivers reliable, distance-independent color recognition up to 65 mm with advanced brightness evaluation and auto-correction, enabling consistent detection regardless of object positioning or surface reflectance variations. The unit supports simultaneous evaluation of up to seven pre-settable colors with three binary-coded switching outputs, making it suitable for multi-variant production lines and format changeovers without reconfiguration downtime. The sensor features a durable die-cast zinc cubic housing (25 × 50 × 50.5 mm) with IP67/IP69 protection and an integrated large LC display with intuitive keypad for teach-in and parameter setup. Configuration is available either locally via the display or remotely through the M12 IO-Link interface, which also provides advanced diagnostics including temperature monitoring, signal quality assessment, real-time RGB value output, and integrated object counting for production tracking.
