The SMC D-M9PWVSAPC is a solid state auto switch (cylinder position sensor) with a 3-wire PNP output and 2-color (red/green) indicator. It mounts directly to a compatible SMC actuator to detect piston position by sensing the magnet in the piston, with no moving parts. The two-color indicator lights green when the switch is set within the optimum operating range, making setup fast and repeatable.
