Refrigerant and Regulatory
The HRSHF series uses R32 refrigerant, which carries a global warming potential (GWP) of 675 - well below the higher-GWP refrigerants used in many legacy large-capacity chillers. This positions the series to meet tightening refrigerant rules for chillers above 12 kW while improving energy efficiency and reducing annual CO2-equivalent output.
