The Yaskawa iC9226M-FSoE is the functional-safety-compliant flagship of the iCube Control iC9200 platform — a single modular controller that unifies motion, logic, kinematics, HMI, and a built-in safety PLC with a Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) master. Program SIL 3 safety applications directly inside iCube Engineer using certified safety function blocks, with no external safety PLC required. Safety and non-safety EtherCAT devices run on a single network under a single engineering tool.

Powered by the same Yaskawa Triton 3-core ARM Cortex-A17 1.26 GHz processor as the standard EC variant, the iC9226M-FSoE ships with 4 controlled axes baseline and scales up to 64 real + 64 virtual synchronized axes via electronic feature licenses. It is certified SIL 3 per IEC 61508 / IEC 62061 and Cat. 4 PL e per ISO 13849-1, with EC Type Examination Certificate 01/205/5983.00/24 from TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH.
