The ABB Mkey8Rfqc Solenoid Safety Switch is designed with advanced RFID technology, achieving PL e or SIL 3 for its interlock function. It features a robust die-cast housing and a stainless steel head, ensuring durability and reliability. The switch is equipped with an M12 Quick Connector and operates on 24V DC power for unlocking. It offers a safe lock function that also reaches PL e or SIL 3 when used with a compatible accessory. The device includes two safe OSSD inputs and two safe OSSD outputs, providing enhanced safety and control. Please note that the RFID key is not included. MKey switches are ideal for monitoring doors and hatches, with the switch mounted on the frame and the actuator key on the moving part of the guard. These switches offer a safe interlocking function and can be used as either process locks or safety locks, depending on the locking signal.
