This versatile contactor is primarily used for controlling 3-phase motors and power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC. Its compact design allows for side-by-side mounting, reducing installation width by 15% without spacing, and it operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. Compliant with key rolling stock standards such as IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60077-1/-2, and parts of EN 50155, it withstands shocks and vibrations as per IEC 61373 cat. 1, class B. The contactor also meets the highest fire and smoke behavior standards, conforming to EN 45545-2 (HL2, HL3 hazard levels) in group mounting. Its lightweight design reduces train energy consumption, requiring 68% less coil energy during operation. The electronic coil interface accommodates large DC voltage fluctuations, supporting various Uc DC control voltages for battery supply and accepting sinusoidal AC 50/60 Hz control supplies within the Ucmin to Ucmax voltage range. It features a built-in auxiliary contact and screw terminals, capable of controlling motors up to 4 kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) or 5 hp / 480 V UL, and switching power circuits up to 25 A (AC-1) or 25 A UL general use. The AF technology ensures a wide control voltage range (24-60 V 50/60 Hz and 20-60 V DC), managing voltage variations and reducing panel energy consumption.
