The ABB AF16-22-00-11 is a versatile 4-pole contactor designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 440 V DC. Ideal for managing non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, such as resistance furnaces, this contactor features an electronic coil interface that accommodates a wide range of control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC/DC. With only four coils covering these voltages, it eliminates the need for coil changes, making it suitable for global applications. The AF16-22-00-11 includes built-in surge protection, negating the need for additional suppressors, and boasts a block type design for easy integration. It supports motors up to 7.5 kW at 400 V AC and can switch power circuits up to 30 A. The contactor is equipped with 2 N.O. and 2 N.C. main poles, and can be expanded with front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks.
