The ABB DRAF12-11U is a robust enclosed Direct-On-Line starter designed for efficient control of 3-phase asynchronous motors up to 690 V AC. This starter comes fully assembled and wired, housed in an IP66 and type 4X plastic enclosure with double insulation for enhanced durability. It features a user-friendly interface with a green flush "I" ON button and a red protruding "O" OFF/RESET button for easy operation. The enclosure is equipped with four cable inlets and outlets via knockouts, suitable for UL starter types, ensuring versatile connectivity options.
Inside, the DRAF12-11U includes an AF12-30-10-11 3-pole contactor with a holding contact, providing reliable motor control. It also features a separate supply for UL starter types with an AC control supply range of 24-60V50/60HZ. The starter is equipped with a CB5-10 start contact block, a PE terminal, and a neutral terminal for comprehensive electrical connections. Please note that the TF42 thermal overload relay is to be ordered separately and should be selected based on the motor's nominal current to ensure optimal performance and protection.
