The ABB 2TLA010041R0600 Sentry BSR23 Safety Expansion Relay is designed to enhance the functionality of your safety relay or safety PLC by increasing the number of safe outputs. This expansion relay features 4 normally open (NO) and 1 normally closed (NC) relay outputs, operating with a +24 VDC supply voltage. It is equipped with screw terminals for secure and easy installation.
The Sentry BSR23 is part of ABB's comprehensive range of safety relays, which are suitable for various safety applications up to PLe / SIL3 standards. While basic models ensure reliable supervision of simpler safety functions, the universal models offer advanced features and flexibility. Models with displays provide preset configurations and detailed information to simplify troubleshooting.
Additional variants of the Sentry series include a high accuracy timer function with a precision of ± 1% and an adjustable time setting range from 0 to 999 seconds. With a high output current capacity of up to 6 A, these relays can eliminate the need for an intermediary contactor. The multi-reset feature allows up to 10 safety relays to be connected to a single reset light-button.
All models are available with detachable push-in or screw terminals, and accessories such as terminals and coding kits for marking removed terminals are also available.
