The ABB Sentry TSR20M Safety Expansion Relay is designed for enhanced safety monitoring with its delayed relay outputs of 3NO+1NC. It operates on a versatile power supply range of 85-265 VAC/120-375 VDC and features convenient screw terminals for easy installation. This relay is ideal for monitoring safety devices with contacts, utilizing two equivalent channels for reliable performance. The OFF-delay time can be easily adjusted to either 0.5 seconds or 1.5 seconds using a switch located on the front of the unit.
Sentry safety relays are engineered to support a wide range of safety applications, meeting standards up to PLe/SIL3. Basic models ensure dependable supervision of simpler safety functions, while universal models offer advanced features and flexibility. Models equipped with a display provide preset configurations and detailed information to simplify troubleshooting. Additional variants include a high-accuracy timer function with a precision of ±1% and an adjustable time setting range from 0 to 999 seconds. With a high output current capacity of up to 6 A, these relays can eliminate the need for an intermediary contactor. The multi-reset feature allows up to 10 safety relays to be connected to a single reset light-button. All models are available with detachable push-in or screw terminals, and accessories such as terminals and a coding kit for marking removed terminals are also available.
