The ABB PSTX840-600-70 Soft Starter is engineered for optimal motor control and energy efficiency. With a rated maximum operational current of 840 A and an operating voltage range of 208 to 600 V AC, this soft starter is ideal for medium to large-sized three-phase motors. It supports a control voltage between 100 to 250 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The PSTX features a three-phase control soft start and stop through a voltage or torque ramp, ensuring smooth motor operation. Communication with the PSTX is versatile, offering hardwire inputs for Start/Stop/Reset of fault, three programmable digital inputs, and built-in Fieldbus communication via Modbus RTU. Optional ANYBUS modules support major protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP. An external adaptor and Fieldbus plug offer further communication options.
