The ABB PSTX85-600-70 Soft Starter is designed for optimal motor control and energy efficiency. With a maximum operational current of 85 A and an operating voltage range of 208 to 600 V AC, this soft starter is ideal for medium to large-sized three-phase motors. It features a rated control voltage between 100 to 250 V AC at 50/60 Hz, ensuring versatile compatibility.
The PSTX85-600-70 offers advanced functionalities such as three-phase control soft start and stop through voltage or torque ramp, built-in bypass for easy installation, and energy-saving capabilities. It includes relay outputs for RUN, TOR, and Event signals in a normally open state. Additional features include current limit, kickstart, analog output, EOL, motor heating, and pump cleaning.
For enhanced usability, the PSTX comes with a detachable full graphic display with IP66 and 4x outdoor rating. Communication with the PSTX is flexible, offering hardwire inputs for Start/Stop/Reset of fault, three programmable digital inputs, and built-in Fieldbus communication via Modbus RTU. Optional ANYBUS modules support major protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP. An external adaptor and Fieldbus plug provide further communication options.
