The Leuze AMS 348i 200 SSI is an optical laser distance sensor from the AMS 300i series, designed for absolute distance measurement up to 200 m against a reflector using time-of-flight principle with red laser (class 2 per IEC/EN 60825-1). It features ±3 mm accuracy, 0.00110 mm resolution, 2.1 mm reproducibility (3 sigma), and supports traverse rates up to 10 m/s, with SSI interface (80800 kHz clock), 1830 V DC supply, and IP65-rated diecast zinc/aluminum housing (84 x 166.5 x 159 mm). Connections include M12 connectors for BUS IN/OUT (D-coded 4-pin), PWR (A-coded 5-pin), service interface (A-coded 5-pin), and SSI (B-coded 5-pin); suitable for positioning of automated components, high-bay storage axes, gantry cranes, and collision protection.
