The Leuze AMS 384i 200 is an absolute optical laser distance sensor designed for precise non-contact measurements up to 200 m against a reflector, with a measurement range of 0.2 to 200 m, accuracy of ±3 mm, and reproducibility of 2.1 mm (3 sigma). It features a red laser diode (650690 nm, Class 2 per EN 60825-1), resolution adjustable from 0.001 to 10 mm, maximum traverse rate of 10 m/s, and integration time of 1.7 ms, with temperature drift ?0.1 mm/K. Electrical specifications include 1830 VDC supply (?250 mA without heating, ?500 mA with), InterBus interface (500 kbit/s or 2 Mbit/s), two programmable inputs/outputs, and a graphical display with keypad for operation; it includes pre-mounted mounting plate options and is suited for positioning automated plant components, high-bay storage axes, gantry cranes, and collision protection.
