The Leuze AMS 384i 200 H is an optical laser distance sensor designed for absolute distance measurement up to 200 m against a reflector, with a measurement range of 0.2 to 200 m, accuracy of ±3 mm, and reproducibility of 2.1 mm (3 sigma). It features a red laser diode (650690 nm, Class 2 per EN 60825-1), light spot diameter ?150 mm at maximum range, integration time of 1.7 ms, and maximum traverse rate of 10 m/s, with adjustable resolution from 0.001 to 10 mm. Electrical specifications include 1830 VDC supply (?250 mA without heating, ?500 mA with), InterBus interface (500 kbit/s or 2 Mbit/s), two programmable inputs/outputs, and a rugged diecast zinc/aluminum housing (84 x 166.5 x 159 mm) suitable for industrial environments including positioning of automated components, high-bay storage axes, and gantry cranes.
