The Leuze AMS 384i 300 H is an absolute measuring optical laser distance sensor designed for precise distance measurements up to 300 m against a reflector, with a measurement range of 200 to 300,000 mm, accuracy of ±5 mm, and reproducibility of 3 mm (3 sigma). It features an Interbus interface (500 kbit/s or 2 Mbit/s), supply voltage of 1830 VDC, current consumption up to 500 mA with heating, laser class 2 (red light, 650690 nm), IP65 enclosure, and operating temperature of -5 to 50 °C. Typical applications include positioning of automated plant components, high-bay storage travel/lifting axes, gantry crane bridges and trolleys, with mounting via pre-mounted plate, hexagon socket, and M5 nut; includes graphical display, 4-button keyboard, 2 programmable inputs/outputs.
