The Leuze AMS 384i 40 is an absolute measuring optical laser distance sensor designed for precise distance measurement up to 40 m against a reflector, with accuracy of ±2 mm and consistency of 0.3 mm. It features a red laser diode (650690 nm, Class 2), 8 ms integration time, adjustable resolution from 0.00110 mm, and supports traverse rates up to 10 m/s, with temperature drift ?0.1 mm/K.
