Description
The Baumer CFAK 12N3140/L 11045947 is a liquid level sensor designed for wastewater applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 0.1 mm and is non-flush mounted. This sensor does not include a GND electrode and has a temperature drift of ±20%. It lacks sensitivity adjustment and cannot detect non-conductive media or detect fill levels through containers. The sensor is designed for direct contact with liquids but is not suitable for object detection in bulk goods. It operates with a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, consuming a maximum of 12 mA with no load. The output circuit is an NPN break function (NC) with an output current of 200 mA and a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC. It has a switching frequency of 15 Hz and includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor is cylindrical and threaded, made from POM with an EPDM50 gasket, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 39.5 mm in length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +50 °C. The sensor is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
