Baumer CFAK 18P1100 10165163 is a cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 5 mm and non-flush mounting. It operates without a GND electrode and has a temperature drift of ±15% within a 0 to +70 °C range. This sensor does not feature sensitivity adjustment but includes a yellow LED output indicator. It is designed for contactless measurement and can detect non-conductive media, sense fill levels through containers, and handle liquids in direct contact as well as object detection in bulk goods. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, consumes a maximum of 20 mA with no load, and features a PNP make function (NO) output circuit with an output current of 200 mA. The voltage drop is less than 1.5 VDC, and it has a switching frequency of 50 Hz. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The housing is made of PBT, measures 18 mm in diameter, and is 63.5 mm long with a 2-meter cable connection. It operates between -25 to +75 °C and offers IP 67/65 protection for the sensing face and sensor respectively.
