Description

Baumer FHDK 14N5101/S14 11001034 is a background suppression photoelectric sensor with a sensing distance of 20 to 350 mm and a quick response time of less than 1 ms. It features a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm and mechanical sensing distance adjustment through a 10-turn potentiometer. The sensor includes a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator for operational status. It operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with typical current consumption of 25 mA and a maximum of 30 mA. The output function can be set to light or dark operate, and it includes NPN output circuit with a maximum output current of 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit, reverse polarity protection, and an IP67 protection class for robustness against dust and water. The sensor is housed in a rectangular plastic body (ASA, MABS) with PMMA front optics and connects via an M12 4-pin connector. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C.
