Description

The Baumer FPDH 14P5101 11096620 is a retro-reflective sensor designed for hygienic applications, featuring a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers a nominal range of 3.5 meters and an actual range of 3 meters. This sensor includes a polarization filter and a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, along with a yellow LED light indicator. It does not require sensitivity adjustment and has built-in suppression of reciprocal influence. The sensor is quick to respond with a response/release time of less than 1 ms and operates within a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC. It consumes a maximum of 25 mA with a typical consumption of 20 mA and a voltage drop of less than 1.8 VDC. The output functions include light/dark operate with a PNP output circuit and a maximum output current of 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's robust design features a stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) housing, PMMA front optics, and a 4-pin, 2-meter cable connection.
