The Baumer FPDK 10P5130/S35A is a retro-reflective sensor featuring a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers an actual range of 3.5 m and a nominal range of 4 m. Equipped with a polarization filter, this sensor includes a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator. It does not allow for sensitivity adjustment but includes features like suppression of reciprocal influence, short circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection. The sensor operates without a delay, boasting a response time of less than 0.5 ms. It functions within a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 20 mA and a maximum of 25 mA. The output function can operate in light or dark conditions, supported by a PNP output circuit and capable of handling an output current of 100 mA. The sensor's compact, rectangular design measures 10.4 mm in width, 27 mm in height, and 16.3 mm in depth, housed in plastic (ASA) with a PMMA front optics. It connects via an M8 4-pin connector and is designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25 to +65 °C. This model is IP 67 rated for protection against ingress and has been discontinued as of July 8, 2024.
