The Baumer FPDK 14N5101 11001184 is a retro-reflective sensor equipped with a pulsed red LED light source and a polarization filter. It offers a nominal range of 7.2 meters and an actual range of 7 meters. This sensor features a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator. It operates without sensitivity adjustment and has a quick response time of less than 1 ms. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with typical current consumption of 20 mA and a maximum of 25 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and can operate in light or dark conditions with its NPN output circuit supporting up to 100 mA output current.
